SPA Etiquette

Information and Booking
Information on our offers and availabilities can be obtained ideally on our hotel website. If you wish you can also call us + 49 (0)38393/44170 or send an email to spa@hotel-am-meer.de. If you would like to consult with us in person, don’t hesitate to ask for an individual consultation.

Cancellation
We kindly ask you to cancel any treatment at least 24 hours prior to appointment, or we may have to charge you a cancellation fee of 80%. We also ask you to consider that any late arrival will shorten your treatment time.

Special Health Conditions
Please remember to inform us about any health conditions beforehand, preferably already with your reservation or, at the latest, prior to the beginning of your treatment.

Pregnancy and Nursing
Congratulations! There are certain rules for this most wonderful time and we are happy to advise you on any suitable treatments you can enjoy even during pregnancy or following childbirth.

Treatments
Treatment time consists of preparation and follow-up time as well as the actual treatment time. Please ensure you bring sufficient time for all your spa treatments. We recommend arriving at the meerspa 5 to 10 minutes prior to your appointment. Please wear a bathrobe and slippers when entering our meerspa. We will provide you with suitable disposable underwear for your treatment.

Clothing and Use of the Spa
Please be aware that the meerspa’s entire pool and sauna area is a nudity zone. Bathrobes and towels are provided aplenty. Only the pool is to be used in swimwear. Please enter the resident cabins, even the infrared cabin, only with a towel to sit on (sanitary layer) and without swimsuits. In the wet steam bath, also a nude zone, the benches will be washed down beforehand with the hose on hand, thus, there is no need for a sitting towel here.

Children and Teenagers
Our meerspa is a place of relaxation and quiet. We kindly ask you to respect this peaceful atmosphere for your own enjoyment and for the enjoyment of your fellow guests. For this reason, only adults and teenagers of 16 years and older are allowed the full use of our wellness area. Children under the age of 16 are welcome to use our meerspa with adult supervision from 10am to 1pm.

Miscellaneous
Please be advised of our no-smoking and no-alcohol policy in the entire spa area. However, we do not enforce our alcohol ban during treatments. To guarantee your and your fellow guests’ optimal relaxation, we ask you to refrain from using your tablet or laptop in the spa area and to put your mobile phone on silent.
