The Successful Idea
The perfect complement to one of the most beautiful places in Germany! The number of boutique, fitness, and spa hotels is as boundless as the sea. But very few actually have both sea and sand! Therefore, the enormous recreational value of the island and the perfect proximity to the beach has been at the heart of our hotel concept from the very beginning.
With the HOTEL AM MEER, we consciously wanted to create a place that seamlessly integrates itself into the historic seaside resort idyll while setting new accents in terms of lifestyle, fun, and recreation. And we keep working on it day by day. With enthusiasm, creativity, familial team spirit, and lots of love for our guests.
Pretty darn fancy
Looking at the promenade of Binz from the beach or the pier, one is bound to stop in their tracks and sigh a delighted: “O dear, it’s really pretty ’round here!” The many shops and cafés, the bathers in their colourful beach chairs, the bustle on the promenade. And perhaps the momentarily startled gaze comes to rest on our building – a white so magnificent, a design so classy in the style of the yesteryear German sea side resort architecture known as ”Bäderstil”, and yet so modern. Well, can you keep a secret? That was our plan all along.
Our aspiration
Instead of a closed-off, artificial world of experience, we have aimed to create a place of rest and relaxation that seamlessly integrates itself into its environment and enriches the Baltic Sea holiday experience by some fascinating facets. This is also why, for example, our fitness and spa program is designed to offer only the highest quality and is exclusively reserved for our guests. For this reason, our idea of comfort is one without frills, arising simply from the combined multitude of amenities – our Blue Moon Lounge on the top floor with a panoramic view for reading and dwelling or the exceptionally diverse breakfast with local products are just two of many examples.
