Two restaurants – eat your way to health!
. . . and you can do it all day long!You can do that in both restaurants; Fischküche and Düne which cam be found on the ground floor of the Hotel AM MEER & Spa. A gas heated, predominantly glass-roofed surrounding terrace of both panorama windowed rooms give the guest the choice of whether to enjoy their delicious healthy meals inside or outside.
The day begins with an extended wellness breakfast chosen from a comprehensive buffet in the Fischküche restaurant until 11 am. Here again, you have the choice of eating indoors or preferably outdoors accompanied by the sound of the sea.
From noon onwards fresh fish specialities feature predominantly on the menu in the Fischküche restaurant. The preparation of the dishes can be observed in our show-kitchen
- you can just look over the shoulder of our chefs!
Excellent freshly baked cakes and diverse gateaux, prepared on a daily basis, partly following old recipes from the former family run bakery Bäckerei Schewe, are served in the Düne restaurant from 2 pm onwards.
Small and large meals are prepared in the kitchen until 6 pm, for guests who are hungry between main meal times.
From 6 pm onwards, the evening menu in the Düne restaurant will leave guests with the dilemma of choosing from the wide variety of international dishes available. Fish is of course, a focal point of the menu, alongside a large number of meat specialities
Chef Oliver Finn, really values fresh regional products and seasonal cuisine. The compilation of the dishes prepared depends very much upon the season.
Dishes are prepared in a light Mediterranean style, using fresh herbs and good oils.
Frau Conny Mülling, our F&B and restaurant manageress, is responsible for the excellent service for our guests and in all our gastronomical outlets. She is supported by a young and highly motivated team, all within a really relaxed atmosphere, as many of our guests often confirm!
