Feast to your heart’s content
Shades of green and brown – just like the colours of the dunes -a calming sea aquarium with corals and iridescent fish; and a buffet in the shape of a ship’s hull . . .you aren’t really in the sand dunes but in the restaurant Düne by the sea! In daylight, you can enjoy an imposing view from almost every seat in the restaurant. In front of you lies the well known Binz promenade; the sand dunes – protecting Binz from high water; and the lovely Baltic beach.The ceiling-high glass walls on all sides of the restaurant allow for a fantastic view!
After the last renovation, this old theme of Düne was taken up again and subsequently
applied. A wooden floor of smoked oak, furniture with African zebrano veneers, fine, light linen curtains and a subtle shade of reef green on the walls – add to that good light and chilled music - that’s it!
From 7 am to 11 am tables are prepared for the ample breakfast buffet.
Coffee time is between 2 pm and 5 pm in the Düne. A large buffet of delicious homemade speciality cakes and gateaux is prepared. At the same time our chef de cuisine will take care of your appetite between meals. Small and larger meals can be ordered from the menu.
The evening menu is dedicated to international and regional fish and meat dishes, either as a single dish or as part of a meal with more than one course.
The stylishly furnished Düne has seating for 80 inside and can easily be divided, making it suitable for smaller or larger functions.
